Dealer Update – Sept. 2017
‘’Goodmorning, this is Raven Europe’’. We all need to get used to this a little bit, but since the European Summit in August our name is officially changed to Raven Europe. Since the acquisition in 2014 the plan was there to change the name, but it has really come true now. Below is a brief summary of what has changed for you in terms of service:
- The phone is picked up with ‘’Raven Europe’’ and no longer with ‘’SBG Precision Farming’’.
Furthermore, actually nothing changes at all for you. Who we are, what we do, standing close to our customers and listen to the input from all our dealers will remain the same as before. The well-known service team will still perform their tasks and continuously look for improvements. Input, feedback, improvements or other questions? Do not hesitate to contact us!
Our common service e-mail address is widely used by many of you. When there are questions that do not require immediate answers (but only need an answer the same or the next working day) use this e-mail address:
We changed our name to Raven Europe on Social Media as well:
Facebook: Raven Europe
Youtube: Raven Europe
If you are already following us on social media, the name change will automatically apply and no action is required. If you are not following us yet, it is worthwhile to start following us! Important information, practical photos, videos, explanations and other items are regularly shared through these channels.

Backup functionality in Loader
A requests of many dealers and customers is to make a backup of the whole system in an easy and quick way. This new feature has been integrated in the new Loader software 4.1.18 which has recently been released. This backup option is located at the bottom left in the SBGuidance Loader.
The system adds a folder called ‘’archives’’ on the USB drive. This folder contains a .zip file with the name of the field computer (serial number).
The backup file contains the following folders:
Agrifac Condor heading
Some time ago, we reported some issues with heading fans on Agrifac Condor machines in the dealer update. This issue seems to be solved with the latest SBGuidance version. If you have customers who have problems with heading fans, please let us know so that we can send you the correct SBGuidance version. If there are customers who still have problems with this newer version, please contact us as well.
Last but not least, an update about NMEA2 issues. On the different types of field computers (Viper 4+, Viper 4 etc.) we had some speed stability issues on certain external field computers (Kverneland Tellus for example). We solved this issue in the newer SBGuidance 4.2 version. This version is already available for the Viper 4+. If you have customers with NMEA2 stability problems on other field computers and need this newer SBGuidance version please contact us.
